ALL STAR's Champion Series chair is on the leading edge of outdoor seating. Our Champion Series is blow-molded from a high-density plastic homopolymer and treated with ultraviolet light inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking. This chair can be mounted on galvanized steel or cast aluminum stanchions to insure years of maintence-free service. The Champion Series is ergonomically designed and has a gravity lift mechanism that returns the seat to its upright position automatically without the use of springs. This feature allows fans easy access to their seats and enables cleaning crews to work more efficiently. Padded seats and backs are upgrades that provide extra comfort and lumbar support. Other available options in the series include:

Part 1 - General
       - Champion Series Stadium Chairs
1.01 System Description
  1. Provide labor, material, equipment, and supervision necessary to
    complete installation of stadium chairs, including the following:
    1. Plasic seat pans and backs
    2. Support stanchions
    3. Gravity lift mechanism
    4. Fasteners
1.02 Quality Assurance

1.03 SUBMITTALS
  1. Manufacture's Product Data: Submit manufacture's descriptive
    product data for project.
  2. Shop Drawings: Manufacturer to submit shop drawings and
    schedules for type, location, quantity, and details of all
    components required for project.

  4. Product Sample: Submit one chair sample.
1.04 Warranty
     ALL STAR Bleachers, Inc. warrants its Champion Series stadium
     chairs to be free from defect in materials and workmanship in the
     course of manufacturing for a period of one year beginning at date
     of substantial completion for projects installed by ALL STAR or
     beginning at date of initial delivery of product for projects installed
     by others. Installation of said product by ALL STAR personnel or
     proper installation by others is covered by the one-year warranty.
     This warranty excludes any other defects resulting from abnormal
     use in service, accidental or intentional damage or any occurrences
     beyond ALL STAR's control.
Part 2 - Products
2.01 Acceptable Manufacturer

2.02 Permanent Steel Grandstand
  1. Product Description:
    1. Seat Pans and Backs: Blow-molded from a high-density plastic
      homopolymer. Seats pans and backs are treated with ultraviolet
      light inhibitors and proper pigments to insure minimum fading
      and sustain a minimum of 10,000 hours of weather-o-meter testing.
    2. Stanchions:(With and Without Arms)
      1. Steel: Mig-welded 11 gauge (1 1/4" x 1 1/4") steel square tube
        hot-dipped galvanized after fabrication.
      2. Aluminum: Precision die-cast aluminum with powder coated
        gray finish.
      3. Stanchions are designed to accommodate riser heights of
        7" to 21".
    3. Seat Support Bracket: Injection molded high-density plastic.
      (Entech 43% G.F. nylon 6/6).
    1. Pivot Rod/Counterweight: Die cast aluminum/zinc alloy.
      Counterweight pads shall be clear PVC tubing.
    2. Hardware:
      1. Chair Hardware: Corrosion proof stainless steel fasteners.
      2. Stanchion Hardware: Aluminum drive rivets for aluminum
        deck installation. Expansion anchors for concrete installation.
        All stanchion hardware is galvanized.
    3. Seat and Back Cushions (Optional):
      1. Vinyl cover is UV stable per ASTM D14499 and mildew
        resistant per ASTM G-21 and D1924.
      2. Backing is vacuum formed polystyrene and is water and
        mildew resistant.
      3. Foam chushion is "dryfast" and mildew resistant.
    4. Seat Numbers:
      1. Aluminum plate with embossed letters pop-riveted to seat pan
        or back:1 1/4"x 1 7/8".
      2. Adhesive mylar decal, 3-M Scothal No. 5430, with brushed
        aluminum field:1 1/4"x 1 7/8".
    5. Dimensions:
      1. Chair Widths: 18", 19", 20", 21" and 22"
      2. Chair Envelope: 10 3/8" (up position), 19"(down position)

  1. Material/Finishes:
    1. Plastic Seat and Backs: Blow-molded high-density plastic
      homopolymer that meets or exceeds the Federal Motor Vehicle
      Safety Standard Number 302 with a burning rate of less than 4"
      per minute.
    2. Stanchions:
      1. Galvanized Steel: Structural fabrication with ASTM-A36 steel.
        Shopconnections are seal welds. After fabrication, all steel is
        hot-dipped galvanized to ASTM-A123 specifications. Optional
        powder coated finish is available.
      2. Aluminum: Precision die-cast aluminum. Optional powder
        coated finish is available.
      3. Design Loads: Using Advanced Finite Element Analysis
        (AFEA), ALL STAR has performed boh a linear static and
        dynamic analysis of our Champion Series chair. The product
        was tested with primary loads to exceed 450 pounds. Test results
        are available upon request.
Part 3 - Execution
3.01 Installation
  1. All work performed by factory-trained technicians experienced in
    stadium chair installation.
  2. Project as per approved shop drawings.
  3. The stadium chairs shall be riser or tread mounted to aluminum,
    steel, or concrete structures with appropriate stanchions for the
    application.
3.02 Clean-Up
  1. Clean up all debris caused by work of this action.

the specifications can be modified to meet your special seating
